Inspired by the exploits of the Batman of Gotham City, Santiago Vargas became a superhero, taking the name 'El Gaucho'. He became the Argentinian representative in the 'Club of Heroes' aka the 'Batmen of all Nations', a group of international heroes who met on a Caribbean island.
