Camazotz has served the Green Lantern Corps as far back as the War with Nekron. Camazotz was among the many Green Lanterns who joined Hal Jordan in pursuit of Krona, the renegade Guardian. Camazotz confirmed Jordan's theory that the villains' activities were causing the universe to rapidly contract. He is an excellent tracker due to his species natural radar, however, Camazotz prefers the pursuit of physics to combat.
Following the reformation of the Corps, Camazotz re-enlisted and continued to protect his sector while pursuing his scientific endeavors. Camazotz fought in the Sinestro Corps War, and has since focused his research on experimenting with possible uses of the Sinestro Corps rings and the yellow spectrum of light. His research is being closely monitored by the Guardians of the Universe.
